I have had this unit for a month, and I am really having a hard time staying away from watching it all the time! colors are vibrant, black levels are superb, audio is great; these are just some of the features that make this Samsung PN42C450 tv a pleasure to watch.
The main reason I have got chose this model over others was the fact that a plasma tv unit improves overall image quality, even at lower resolution, which means that if you have standard cable or a whole bunch of dvds, this Samsung PN42C450 TV will make them look fantastic. Also all you have to do to get HD is to plug a regular antenna and let it scan your local ATSC channels, it will pick up stuff you didn’t even know existed! and HD shows and movies look good on this TV!!
I have connected my PC via HDMI to the TV and now I am streaming shows from hulu and youtube videos and believe me when I say, you will never want to watch your videos on a smaller monitor ever again!.
Other features Virtually no motion blur whatsoever, plenty of configuration options for video and audio, game modes, burn in protection, captions, etc. I even like the remote, with plenty of easy to find function buttons.
Anything wrong with this model? well let’s see… it takes about 10 seconds to fully power on and changing channels can be a little bit slow, there is no built in TV schedule guide and media format support (via usb) is limited to JPGs and MP3s.
If you have $500 bucks to spend on a TV, you will not go wrong picking this one up, trust me you wont be disappointed.

I bought this TV three days ago. I go to a game in 1080 to make p, but I went to the new plasma TV-720P. The picture is impressive, and the sound is very good. (All 42-inch TV with 2 x 10 W, you can always connect to your stereo). For some reason when I connect to a computer disk size, screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 (Graphics impressive HDMI cable) If you are looking for a good film that has a good voice, then in September, can not simply be the price. I was sure it would be a good buy, and I was surprised when the first comes from the screen, but it was a nice new TV and appeared soon after.
